Natalia Karpenko – PhD in Psychology, associate professor, practicing counselling psychologist, hypnotherapist, and specialist in nonviolent communication. For 16 years, she worked at the University of Internal Affairs in Lviv (Ukraine), co-authoring the course Psychology of Nonviolent Communication and Facilitation for psychology master’s students at the Lviv State University of Internal Affairs. She is a member of the Space of Dignity Ukrainian Center for Nonviolent Communication and Reconciliation. She is a consulting psychologist specializing in giftedness and creativity psychology, PTSD recovery, and training mediators, facilitators, and negotiators. She has participated in projects of UNDP, OSCE, USAID, the U.S. Embassy, Federal Republic of Germany, Japan, and other organizations focused on dialogue, facilitation, mediation, mutual understanding, and nonviolent communication. She is a coach in the special psychological training program of National Police employees and NABU detectives. She is a participant in the Facilitators Network for Dialogues in Ukraine. She is a supervisor for Ukrainian psychologists of the People in Need mobile teams (Czech Republic).
